Amazing August

Our vacation to Pa was just spectacular.
We drove 14 hours and stopped to visit my grandmother, Grace.

Then we finished the last 5 hours to my parents cottage  and dropped Javan off for a week at Camp Timberledge.
While he was getting unpacked and meeting new friends we had a little fun with Aunt Julie

This was at a little park in Hawley we played at one afternoon

Mom took us on a boat tour of Lake Wallenpaupack and treated us to a fancy dinner. I think there are quite a few pictures on mom's camera...or Lances phone... or somewhere

I guess there will be another post with those pictures :-)

Lance and I took an anniversary trip to New York City. This is us on a open top bus tour through the city.

We stopped at the 911 memorial...

Then we went to see "Chicago".
The tickets were an anniversary gift from my parents.

Afterwards we took a tour of the Rockefeller Center and looked out at the city from the observation deck.

The next day we finished the bus tour and walked around Central park

Then we took a cruise to see the Statue of Liberty.

When we got back we picked up Javan from camp and roasted some hot dogs

We took Jeremiah home to Philadelphia and spent the weekend with them. Always big fun with the PA Rushiks. They spent the night in a huge fort they made.

Sunday we went to JR's church (which was awesome!!) and then took Lance to the airport so he could get back to work. :-(

Monday morning Mom came up with this great idea to take us all to Sesame Place!!!

An entire amusement park themed around Sesame Street. What a nice treat!!!

This was the Sesame Street Parade

SO. MANY. AMUSEMENT. PARK. RIDES!!!

Javan and the Rushik boys had some serious fun!

I got to visit with my long-time best bud, Amy, and meet her newest edition, Veda.

Mom took us to the Wayne County Fair.
hmmm.. I don't have many pictures except of this one of Javan enjoying a Turkey leg!

Sweet sisters... so tuckered out!

Then Mom and I drove to Petersburg KY to the Creation Museum.

The kids were so excited when we go to the hotel!! haha

After the snakes demonstration Javan wanted a pet snake... ummm... no.

This was the petting zoo.

The girls really really loved the water fountain where you washed your hands.

Mom got Javan tickets to do the Aerial Adventure Park.

And a little bit of ziplining too!

Ahhh scary.

Then we drove to St. Louis and mom took us on a boat ride

I didn't want this trip to END!!! We had so much fun :-)
