We went to the arboretum today for some nature journaling. This is a picture of Javan with his best friends.

Labor day

On the way to the Lance's parents house we stopped at some sunflower fields. They only bloom for about a week and it just happened that the week they were blooming was the same weekend we were driving by.

Tee hee. There was a bee on that one ! ;-) 

Then we drove up to Wamego and went to the park for the afternoon. I was in a "taking pictures" kind of mood so ....

Then we went to Lance's brother's house for a little while so Lance could finish up some electrical. 

Its still a bit of a construction zone so there are a lot of dirt piles to play on. 

That same weekend we went to a little Labor Day festival in Chapman, KS

Even though Cosette was a little "shy" of age 4. They still let her do the tractor pull

They hid change in the sand and the little ones had to find it. 

Sort of fun, but the littles didn't totally get the concept. It was fun to play in, though haha

We were trying to tell her where to find the change from the sidelines. 

***shrug*** "I have no idea what I'm doing here" 

At the playground. Cosette kept saying "Come on, hon, sit on my lap"

It was definitely a fun filled weekend!!
